Hand weaving is an age-old technique that produces the finest possible fabrics. The weaver’s sensitive hand brings life and energy to the simplest cloth.

Perrine Rousseau is deeply and personally involved in perpetuating this marvelous savoir-faire.

The vegetal fibers the company uses have all been organically farmed or recycled. The silk yarn is derived from cocoons without the silkworm inside, unlike other silks where the cocoon is boiled with the worm inside; it is called “Peace silk”.Fabrics in our standard collection are 150 cm wide. For orders above 25 meters, width, weaving or color can be fully customized.

For custom orders, a custom sample may be woven for approval.

Fabrics in collections are woven in Perrine Rousseau’s Indian fair-trade weaving workshop. Samples and textile development are hand woven in Paris.

Splash-, fire-, and waterproofing treatments are also available on request.
