Perrine Rousseau is a French visual artist whose work, at the crossroads of painting and architecture, is embodied in woven sculptures.

 

Trained in textile creation techniques at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Paris and then with artisans in Africa and India, she draws on these learnings, her travels and her encounters, rich in stories, traditions and human values, to create works where matter becomes language.

 

Perrine Rousseau's textile art work is a reflection on the link, where the gesture tells and leaves its mark, where cultures meet and individuals recognize each other.

 

Perrine Rousseau lives and works between Paris and Provence.
